Support for Bank Workers

Recruitment will support workers in obtaining and verifying documentation in line with the six NHS Employment Check guidelines. They will arrange induction with the trust, including core skills for health training and shadow shifts to support the sign-off process for new workers joining the bank. They will also obtain these checks when a worker leaves their substantive position, allowing them to pick up shifts once their substantive appointment has ended. Additionally, they will support substantive members of staff in registering for the bank.

  • Compliance

Compliance will maintain workers' files, supporting candidates in updating expiring documentation such as DBS, training and right to work.

  • Customer Support Team

We are here to assist bank workers with any queries they may have throughout their time working with us. This can range from pay queries where we help ensure all candidates are paid accordingly for the work they’ve done, to dealing with timesheet enquiries and providing references. The team are here to ensure a smooth operation throughout and that positive relationships are kept with all staff.

The booking team is here to fill as many shifts as possible for the trust so that they are staffed to a level that ensures the best possible care for patients. We have dedicated teams for each staff group from doctors to administrative staff and nurses to allied health professionals who can assist you in successfully booking your shifts and placements. Our team will work proactively in reaching out to check your availability, identify suitable candidates for priority shifts and encourage them to update their future availability to make for a smoother booking process.

  • On-site Teams

Our staff banks have an on-site team located within each Trust, available five days a week to provide in-person support. Each on-site team comprises Contract Managers and Business Partners who are subject matter experts within their respective Trusts. You will find our teams attending ward rounds, meeting with managers and engaging with bank candidates to offer necessary support.
